Nina by Nina Ricci Review ♥

Sorry I haven't blogged in so long! I went on holiday, and have been so busy at work! When I was on holiday, I purchased Nina by Nina Ricci at the duty free. I'd actually never smelt the perfume before, although had seen the bottle whilst browsing perfume counters. I decided to have a small spritz of it however, and thought it was so lovely.
I'd say it has a floral scent, but it's slightly sweet too. It's not too overpowering though, and has just the perfect amount of sweetness. I purchased the toilette, and I've been really impressed. I usually try to purchase the perfume as I find toilette's just don't last as long, but I've had no problems. Today I sprayed it on in the morning, and two hours later I could still really smell it.

I also think the bottle is quite pretty. It looks like an apple, and is simple and sophisticated. I find it pops perfectly into my handbag too, which is always a bonus.
The perfume is currently on offer at Boots for £38.00 with a body lotion- HERE

Have you tried this fragrance before?

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Eau De Parfum Review ♥

I think I may have found my favorite perfume! Beautiful, sweet and all round delicious, is the only way I can describe this perfume. It is literally heaven in a bottle! Apologies for the photos in advance- the lighting is terrible because there hasn't been any sunshine in the UK for around four weeks! Anyway, I truly adore this perfume...it's just beautiful.
My mum is a massive fan of this perfume also; which is actually a big compliment to this fragrance as my mum really isn't a fan of sweet perfumes at all. There is something about this perfume however; although it's quite sweet, it's not sickly but quite refreshing with hints of floral. The bottle is modern, but pretty and feminine and looks stunning displayed on my dressing table. Although the perfume is quite expensive ( 100ml at £90.00), I can see this perfume lasting a long time. A simple spray of this perfume easily lasts hours, and it honestly leaves a beautiful trail (I know this as my mum had sprayed some on herself and the scent had been left around the house wherever she had been! ha!). I know that eau de parfum is better than buying a toilette as perfumes tend to last longer on the skin, but sometimes I find this isn't the case at all. This isn't a problem with Flowerbomb at all.

It has a real luxury, sexy vibe to it, and I always feel special wearing it. My mum refuses to wear it for work, saying that it is simply too special for that. I think Viktor & Rolf describe it a little better than me:

" A thousand flowers in a perfume bottle. Full-bodied and opulent, Flowerbomb eau de parfum explodes in a bouquet of sensations with it's addictive floral notes which leave, their trail, like a whirlwind that is distinctly couture. "

That's a much better description than mine....and definitely so true. Like I said, it really does leave this beautiful trail wherever you go. It's just stunning.

Oooh dahling, you smell gorgeous...

Firstly, before I begin the post, I just want to apologise for my terrible photography! If you follow me on twitter, you'll know that I've just began a placement. This means I leave early in the morning, and get back late in the evening...this means I won't get to take photos in natural day light until the weekend. This is a real pain, because I think photographs looks so much better in natural light. Anyway, I just had to do a post on my new perfume, because I just love it...
Estee Lauder Sensuous Eau De Parfum Spray.
"Estee Lauder Sensuous was created to evoke the warmest most feminine side of a woman. A warm, woody fragrance surrounded by atmospheric florals, Pepper, Mandarin Orange Pulp and Honey".

This perfume is just beautiful. I enjoy wearing quite sweet smelling perfumes, particularly Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle, so if you have a similar preferences then I definitely recommend this perfume. I don't like an overpowering scent, as it can be quite sickly, but this has just a touch of sweetness to it. What annoys me about some perfumes, is they can smell beautiful in the bottle and when first applied on the skin, but within an hour you can no longer smell it. This perfume however, seems to just sink into the skin really well, and lasts most of the day. I'm really impressed. I've had some lovely compliments too, which I've never had with previous perfumes.
Hope everybody is having a lovely day. I've just got back from my second day of placement and am absolutely exhausted! I also got soaked walking home in the massive storm that seems to have taken over Lancashire!
