River Island + Company Magazine Discount ♥

Company Magazine (which is £1 this month!) are offering 20% off at River Island to students with NUS cards. Well, I was straight there! I'd seen some shoe boots that I really wanted that were already reasonably priced at £35.00...but 20% is even better!
I love that because the wedge blends in with the colour of the boot, the heel looks really big. They're not that high, and so easy to walk in. I'm already getting prepared for winter and stocking up on my knitwear! I thought these boots were the perfect colour for winter, and so easy to wear with most outfits. I also bought some gold, cross earrings which I thought were really cheap at £3.00.

Definitely go grab Company Magazine if you have your eye on something in River Island. I've always thought it was bad that River Island doesn't offer students any discount, and to be honest, it puts me off from shopping there....so this makes up for it!

Today in photos ♥

I didn't do much today, but the sun was shining, so I thought I'd have a day of relaxing...I start my new job tomorrow (on a Friday, strange I know!), so I thought I'd make the most of having nothing to do!
Dress: Primark, Denim Jacket Topshop, Shoes: Topshop, Sunglasses Oscar de le Renta.

This is my mum mimicking my ootd photos...she's so funny!
 So many magazines to read!
My dog was going crazy when he saw this in the sky! He thought he could reach into the sky and eat it...it was hilarious!
He's so cute! He looks like a little sheep!

Hope you're all enjoying the sunshine...not that we've seen much of it! It's raining as I speak! Sorry for the randomness of this post too!

Style Icon ♥

I think everybody has a style icon...somebody they always look to for fashion inspiration. Mine has always been Olivia Palmero. I can't say I'm a massive fan of her personality from what I saw on The City, but what I did notice was her incredible style. Here are my favourite Olivia fashion moments, all of which I think are really easy to achieve.

I think her style is so effortless and chic. I get serious wardrobe envy whenever I see images of her. I especially like that she mixes her style with designer and the high street, particularly Topshop.

Who do you have a fashion crush on?

Olivia Palermo for Lifestyle magazine

Olivia Palmero is featured looking her usual amazing self for Lifestyle Mirror. A new website, designed to show celebrities in their natural habitats, has decided to feature Olivia and her gorgeous boyfriend in the Paris hotel Le Meurice.

I have to admit, I never like Olivia in The City. She appeared a bit too sure of herself, but I always hoped this was to create a little drama for the show. I tried so much to not like her, but she was just so graceful with such amazing style, that she turned into one of my favourite style icons. What's great about this shoot, is that you can shop the whole shoot! Yes, really...even her rug! Well, it's all a touch too expensive, but I think it's a great idea.

What do you think of Olivia Palmero? Would you consider her a style icon?

Ohhh, to be Olivia Palermo...

I love Olivia Palermo. She never fails to look effortless. Whether she's wearing and styling clothes from the high street, or wearing designer clothing and couture, she has the most fabulous style. I can't say I was a huge fan of her personality in The City, but it was clear that she had a talent for styling.

So, in true Olivia fashion, I tried to recreate her look, both by using clothing from the high street, and mixing it with more high end labels. What do you think of Olivia's style?
