Dr Jart + Water Fuse BB Cream review

In a recent Glossybox, I'd received the Dr Jart + BB cream. I'd never heard of the product or brand but was excited to try it. I've never been a massive fan of BB creams to be honest. I don't think the coverage is that great, and I definitely like a thicker consistency. I only happened to try this product because I'd misplaced my foundation...and so glad I did!
I have to say, I am so impressed! The consistency is quite watery, as most BB creams are, but it applies to the skin beautifully. It makes my skin tone even and dewy looking, and manages to cover any dark circles or blemishes. My skin feels moisturised and soft and has a lovely healthy appearance. What I think is an added bonus is that the product has an SPF 25. Most high end foundations have an SPF 15, so I think this is quite impressive...we all know the damage that sun rays can do to our skin.
If there are any negatives to this product, it is that after a few hours my skin appears a little shiny. I naturally have oily skin, therefore I use a powder to set my make up. I didn't want to use a powder with this product as it has such a lovely finish and sets so well on the skin. I do find that after a few hours I have to pat a little powder onto my skin though. I don't think this is a problem if your skin isn't so oily.
It blends really beautifully, and I think this may become a staple beauty product of mine in 2013. I think the brand is becoming very popular, as more people discover how amazing their products are.

The product retails for £18.00 for 50ml, and can be purchased from the Boots website.

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas!

the body shop Ginger Sparkle body butter review ♥

Christmas is here, which means anything spicy! It also means that most of us will suffer from really dry skin, or eczema. I get really dry skin on my legs, and little patches of eczema on my arms. I find in Winter that it can be even harder to moisturise my skin, so I need something thick and moisturising. I have always been impressed with The Body Shop body butter, and I was even more excited when I saw that they had created a Gingerbread edition for Christmas.
Initially, the smell is quite overpowering. It's very strongly scented of gingerbread, which can be slightly off putting. I decided to apply it to my skin however, and see what I thought. I found that the butter sank in to my skin really well, and my skin felt so soft. I also found that the smell of gingerbread was lovely on my skin. It settled really well, and smelt delicious!
I find that a little goes a long was with this product. I prefer to apply it after I've had a hot shower so it absorbs ever better. I've been using this for around five days now, and my eczema has cleared up, and my legs are lovely and soft! I couldn't recommend The Body Shop body butters any more...they are amazing! They currently are on offer- 2 for £15, and voucher codes are also offering 40% off all Body Shop items...it's worth stocking up before Christmas!

Have you tried The Body Shop body butters? What's your favourite Winter moisturiser?

Models own head kandi & utopia ♥

Just a quick post to show you how lovely Models Own Head Kandi and Utopia look together.
I'm a massive fan of Models Own nail varnishes- I think they apply well, dry quickly and don't chip. Utopia is my favourite shade from Models Own, but I do love a bit of sparkle at this time of year!
Apologies for the terrible photos...the lighting is so bad lately! It seems to go dark around 3pm in the UK right now. I'm really excited to attend The Clothes Show tomorrow and stock up on more Models Own nail varnishes...especially the special edition they have created just for the event!

Are you going to The Clothes Show? What will you be wearing on your nails this Christmas?
