Ahh, Topshop sale...you are good.

I had been after a certain Topshop dress for so long. It was £50, well over my student budget, and I'd basically cry over the fact that I couldn't afford pretty dresses as a student. Well, the Topshop sale quickly came along, I rushed to the rails, and what be there but MY dress...for £18. Yes, I obviously bought it.

My poor little toes were in so much pain last night, as I crammed my feet into size 5 shoes instead of size 6...oops. I had no idea I had even bought the wrong size. They fit perfectly, but then rub so badly...especially after all of my crazy dance moves!
Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend!

I need these in my life, please

Oh, Topshop. You have done it again. My poor, student savings won't stretch this far, but a girl can dream.
Christmas present, anyone? Well done, Toppers. I've seen lots of ladies commenting on the second shoe I've selected, even the lovely Cheryl Cole herself. Well, it must be fashionable then.

Glitter and sparkle, just beautiful. £65.00
Glitter, sparkle and a boot. It's love. £80.00
                                                          Faux pony skin. Lovely. £95.00
                                                       Studs. Hello. £62.00.

Have you seen any shoes that are on your wish list, girlies?
Hopefully I'll get some Topshop vouchers this Christmas, and can make a quick dash to get these shoes!

Hey, it's not so bad being a student...

If you're a student, you may have experienced student living...dum, dum, duuuum...or perhaps not! Now I live in quite a lovely little flat, and I won't lie, it has it's little bits of grossness as most student flats can...however, it's nothing that a bit of girlie DIY can't handle! Here are a few photos of my student flat this year.
No, I'm not clever at art, these are wall sticker from, yep, Home Bargain for £1.99. They cause no harm to paint or wallpaper, so stick away!
I love flowers, and you'd think as a student that these aren't really a necessity, but top tip- They cost me £1.99 from Tesco and I've had them four weeks! I only buy my flowers from here now.
Fairy lights are a must. I got these for £3 from Primark last Christmas and they still work just perfectly. The Home sign was 99p from Home Bargains, and my vase and flowers were from Good ol' Wilkinsons. Student friendly, indeed.
A little chalkboard that hangs above our dining room table so me and my flatmates can write messages to each other. I purchased this in the sale from Sass&Belle, which is pretty fabulous.
I love this tea towel. Primark, a set of three for £2.50. I love Primark for interior items...you can never tell that they were cheap as chips!
BHS, baby. I always wait for the sale. I love a bit of floral, and I think these are juuust lovely.
This is a magnetic note board from The Works for £1.99. My flatmate is from London, so I bought this as a little slice of home to make her smile.
Tea, tea, and more tea. I use this cake stand from BHS to store all of my tea. The tray was reduced to £3 in TkMaxx.
This hangs on the back of my bathroom door to store all of my toiletries. I think it's so sweet. I've got a toothbrush holder that is part of the same set too. Purchased from dotcomgiftshop.com.
This hangs above the toilet...obviously. I think it says it all really. A lovely, little bathroom touch. I think it was around £4 from dotcomgiftshop.com.
I'm a massive fan of this slogan, and it seems to be everywhere right now. This hangs above my bed, and was half price, at £10 from Past Times.
More flowers from Tesco, reduced to 95p and they still look like this seven days later...lovelyjubley.

Hope you enjoyed a good nosey!
Also, I've just joined Twitter and am a loser with little Twitter friends due not having much of a clue what I'm doing! I've finally got the hang of it, so please add me, girlies!

Topshop does a Stella McCartney, baby

Well, Stella's black, polka dot dress has been seen on pretty much every celebrity, and the famous Lucia version costs up to £1,285...no need to fret at the price tag though, asTopshop have designed one just as beautiful at more than a fraction of the price- £46 (Yes, a BIG fraction of the price, then!)

Topshop say:
This spot mesh dress is perfect for a demure nighttime look. The long sleeves are balanced out by the peek-a-boo neckline for just the right amount of glamour. Add some ultra-high heels and statement tights to really make an impact.

Well, Stella McCartney's little Lucia number is a beaut,  but my pennies will never stretch this far! I'll definitely be purchasing the good ol' Toppers version.

Cheryl Cole and shoes? Yes please.

I'm sure you're all very much aware that Cheryl Cole is launching her own shoe range with StylistPick (lucky lady), and they're available in December...all at £39.95! Love her or hate her, you can't deny that she has style.

The great thing about Stylistpick.com, is that you create your own profile based on a quiz, where you pick answers personal to you, based on your clothing style, shoe and accessory style. Shoes and handbags are then recommened to you, and I think they pretty much got my style in(Classic and elegant apparently). I absolutely love a good, classic shoe, and I'm not one for a big, glittery shoe, but if you are, then it doesnt matter...because it's individual to your style.

Even better is the price! Everything is so affordable, even to my student satisfaction. I personally love that stylists get to pick their favourite shoes each month...this month is Grace Woodwood. (X Factor, and Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model).

Anyway, definitely worth a look!

Oh Topshop, Oh leopard Print, Oh what a fabulous item you are...

I love Topshop. I love leopard print. Oh, and do I love handbags. Put all of these things together and you get my new clutch bag from Topshop. It's just so beautiful...so much so that it resulted to me posing with it at any given opportunity on a recent night out. Now that's what I call love.
Leopard print is pretty much everywhere at the moment, and I'm loving it!
Other leopard print I'm especially enjoying:
River Island, £39.99.

Christian Louboutin, £565 (We can all dream!)

Topshop, £60.00.

Topshop, £85.00

H&M, £7.99.

Leopard print is huge this season, and it definitely made a lovely appearance last winter too. I'm so excited to buy more animal print...without trying to look like Bette Lynch...ha.

Getting eco was pretty good, really...

I'm in love with my new make-up brush. It's so soft on my face, and it's even better by the fact that I know it's great for the environment. My brush is from the range Eco Tools, a company which use earth-friendly materials and donates 1% of sales to For the Planet. Launching in 2008, their sales have grown massively due to huge popularity because of their lovelyjubley brushes.

I bought the powder brush and absolutely love it.
Eco tools say the powder brush is:
"This must-have is ideal for applying and setting your face makeup.  Our ultra-soft, cruelty-free brush delivers an even, all-over dusting of powder.  This brush features a recycled aluminum ferrule, a sleek bamboo handle and our zip-top reusable pouch."
My face never looks too caked after using this brush, and leaves a lovely, natural finish.
Very impressed.
Retailing at £9.99 at Boots.

Oh, I do like to be beside the seasiiiide...

Just a small post of my favourite photos that I took at the beach last weekend, in...would you believe it...Blackpool. A lot of money has been spent on Blackpool pier, the beach and the surrounding area to make it a little more desirable. I thought it was lovely.

I absolutely loved taking these photos because the lighting and the sun shining through the clouds was beautiful.
Such a lovely day.

I've gone and got magnetized!

Everybody seems to be going wild for the magnetic nail varnishes which are currently everywhere! Well, now affordable brand 17 have brought out their own range of magnetic nail varnishes in four lovely colours. They retail at £5.99, but Boots are currently offering £2 off, so  I jumped at the chance!
It was easy to apply, and the consistency of the nail varnish is really good, so just one coat looks lovely, but I applied two as I wanted them super green! When the nails are wet, you hover the magnet over the nail. The magnet is attached to the lid of the nail varnish, and within seconds, your nails have an amazing magnetic effect!

Although I think they look great, I don't think they're really my style. I like a neutral, matte looking nail varnish, but I'm glad I tried it anyway! I think they make you look twice, so if you're into kooky nails, then go ahead definitely!

What do you think of the new, magnetic nail varnishes? Which ones have you tried?
